Moving On: Yeezy Season 5
Kanye West is moving on, sorta, but still within Calabasas.
Yeezy Season 5 fashion show pleasantly surprised its attendees. No one fainted, no albums were dropped and it was a straight-up New York Fashion Week runway. Signs of maturity?
One might be disappointed to find the lack of nude-beige neutral tones among the releases but it’s okay, it’s the holiday season now. Calabasas, West’s gated California neighborhood, made its debut on Yeezy last season and continues this season.

Beside the Calabasas logo and crest adorned casual wears, there are vegetable tanned Spanish lamb suede hoodies from Italy, pig suede trimmed Made in USA six-panel caps and ankle zippered nylon shell sweatpants.
My personal favorites are the Calabasas collection. It’s so 2017. It’s laid back, oversized, kinda grungy and kinda sarcastic yet minimal, it is so hot, It’s literally on fire right now. Stay safe, West!
